New Technic for Jigsaw Puzzle Cutting Die
Cutting die is the key part for the jigsaw puzzle making, mostly decides the jigsaw puzzle quality, as well decides if the customer will repeat the orders.
Working with the jigsaw puzzle cutting machine, If the cutting edge is clean, if without scraps, if the bite is perfect, if it can be picked up after puzzling, all about what the customers care, depends on the cutting dies design and manufacture.
First of all, we design the cutting die pattern free based on request.
And after years we have already over 1000 patterns been made before and we can send as request, from kids puzzle to adults puzzle of 3000 pcs, 4000 pcs.
Today we are going to introduce the 4 kinds of jigsaw puzzle cutting mould as usual we made.
1. For plywood materials of tray/frame jigsaw puzzle die cutting. As plywood materials is hard and more difficult cutting than the cardboard, plywood puzzles as usual for kids. And we use normal base Finland board and Japanese high knife to make the die, meanwhile, to install the metal board to fix the knife for protection.
2. For normal adult puzzle, such square or panoramic landscape jigsaw puzzles, the cutting die will adopt normal high quality Japanese knife (Not baona knife) and finland board 23.8mm thickness. As usual we make such moulds and lots experience.
3. "Sandwich cutting die " is based on the request of the customers for the round 500 pcs jigsaw puzzles. After long time cutting, the round puzzles die because of the weather, or working, it will become shape changed such as curve from the center. So in the middle with bakelite, top and bottom with aluminum alloy for protection and keeps the board straight no matter how long time working.
4. The 4th cutting die to suggest, also depends on the request of the jigsaw puzzle cutting to make. At present, in the market, it become more and more popular to "combined puzzles" ,which means to combine 2 or 4 jigsaw puzzles together after puzzling. Then it requires perfect bite for two different puzzles by two cutting dies. Is it possible? We think it's hard. Yes, it's hard, but once it uses the CNC knife adding to the plywood base board cutting together with the normal laser knife, it works perfectly.
