Rigid PET is of course hard for die cutting, as usual at least 100 tons to cut such rigid thick PET.
But for this project, it's harder. You can see the PET try is very hard, and thickness upto 2mm.
What is more, the cutting pattern is so complicated!
There are 64 square holes need to cut off precisely, also it requires positioning!
The 64 square holes is thermoformed a little bit raised on the tray, so it's like printing cutting.
So you can see the positioning needles at 4 corners of the cutting dies.
Such job requires high repeat accuracy to the hydraulic die cutting machine to cut at the same position.
For more, it requires high pressure, 150 tons, with precise cutting.
Anyway, HG machine can do.
